A stylish handheld shock mount. Dimensioned for a Rode NTG1/2, should work for any mic with a diameter of about 22mm or less, though.

Fits a 3/8" nut in the base of the handle for a standard mic pole/boom/whatever. Uses a 1/4" bolt and nut for the articulated head bit. Requires some rubber bands.

Edit: Whoops, forgot to upload the pieces as separate STLs. Fixed.
Edit again: Redesigned the hooks to hold the rubber bands in a way that's actually printable.

Edit Again: Removed speed holes (weren't printable), added supports, reoriented grip for better printing.

very cool, interested to try it out. Any chance anyone has printed out bands from ninja flex? This tau is strong AF, Im just not sure what size or shape to print. Any help would be appreciated :)

I don't know how well that would work, and considering the price of rubber bands, you might be better off with a trip to the office supply store.

Also, the mount as it is is a bit too small to be comfortable. I've just attached the solidworks file if someone wants to scale it up.

I'll say that the grip is very comfy.

Hi, is it possible to make the mount part twice as large (diameter) ?
Or how can you (I) do this ?

How do i attach the rubber bands? thanks

would this work with the gopro
