Mr. Mario Lukas
I am Hilal Demirtürk. I live in Zonguldak in Turkey. I am 16 years old. I am doing this project in our school project school year thanks to the hardware field. My project with Kinect and Kinect 3D map extract that you have made in this regard and Raspberry I want to help you mount the display on RPİ 2 with the project. I want to ask you a few questions

  • What is your main purpose of the project?
  • Project gives you information about the software and hardware?
  • What are the difficulties encountered in the construction phase of the project?
    [email protected]
  • Project cost how much?
  • What advice can be given about the project?
  • What programs you used when Project?
Can I have contact with you while my project?

Hello !
Any news about this ?

Do you plan to be full RPI2, or do you use it in a wireless viewer way ?

this is great! i wonder where the battery goes? is there an external ones?

Yes, i am planing to use a 5v power pack (like the ones for charging mobile phones etc... ) with a 5v to 12v step up board. But i also found a possible solution to drive the kinect directly with 5 volts. Currently i am working on the software part, which i think is more important at the moment :)

Great! is there any screws need to fix kienct on here?

Please make that thing work!
It would be awesome having a portable version of the kinect scanner!

thumbs up!

Thanks, I will do my best. At the moment i am testing different software approaches.

Thank you, but be patient. The whole thing is just a proof of concept until now. I will work on the software in the upcoming weeks. Currently it is only able to show the depth image.

Waou !!! congratulations !!!
I'd like to test the soft too ;)
