Can it be converted to an air sucking unit for sucking the smoke that comes when using a soldering iron?

Finally got a use for the spare D-50A power supply and a Delta fan I've had sitting around for years... Just had to print a custom cover for the power supply. Thanks for the nifty fan stand! Now to take it to work for my "desk fan" that sounds like a mini jet...

Nice! Thanks for the tip! The regular 12cm fan is rather wimpy, this might be a very good replacement.

I was thinking of making something similar to this.

Well maybe you can remix it to something better!

Hi,
Can you please share the design files or modify it to accept fan of 38 mm thickness

Thanks

It works so well, that I gave all my other fans, I love it.

Nice design, but PC fans are designed to work in an enclosed space. I made it, it doesn't work as a desk fan, trust me.

Is that so? Work fine for me... Guess you cannot be trusted? lolz!

Just.

It works perfectly, very nice.

Thanks for your design. I think the way you made the tilt adjustable, with the flexible ratchet was very innovative.
I would have tried some kind of friction action, but your way is much better.

This is very cool. I love the ratcheting feature. I want to make an table top exhaust and this would be a great base for it.
