Hi n602, thanks for your great work. I have the "PiTFT Plus 480x320 3.5" TFT+Touchscreen for Raspberry Pi - Pi 2 and Model A+ / B+"
https://www.adafruit.com/product/2441. I printed the PiTFT_3p5inchLCD_base.stl, but the LCD 40pin female header hits the wall of the base. I then realised your LCD (2097) only had 26 pins so the base cut out would have fitted nicely. I'll try and modify your .123dx file. I'll post some pics of the 2441 and the case as it is now. Am I on the right track ? Thanks

That's right, I am sure that you are on the right track.

When I designed this thing, PiTFT3.5" was the "product ID #2097" only in the line-up of adafruit.
New PiTFT3.5", "product ID #2441" was released after a while, and it had a 40 pin connector.
Although I thought that a part of "3p5inchLCD_base" might have to be cut off for newPiTFT3.5",
and cut a part of "3p5inchLCD_base" off for the trial and took photo for new PiTFT3.5"( I added a pic about this.),
I have not done it any more.

Having made it, some thoughts: I can't get the ANKER Astro Mini 2nd Gen to power the Raspberry Pi 2. Not sure if its just mine is defective or what, but curious which battery are you are using? I also was unable to find the screws at any hardware store (you can online but I wanted to make sure they would fit before purchasing), so went with 4-40 X 1/2 nylon. I used those with hexnuts and washers to attach the Raspberry Pi 2 to the bottom case. It was problematic fitting the screws through the Adafruit 3.5 touchscreen (had to drill the holes out a bit). The way the top printed, I just pushed them down (not really screwing them in). I may add some super glue to them if it feels like its getting loose. I also had issues getting any micro USB cord to plug into the Raspberry Pi because the 3D printed case got in the way. Had to scrap the side a bit to allow the cord to fit properly. I really loved the design and had a lot of fun putting it all together!

-Regarding; Battery...
I got a Pi2 two weeks ago.
And I also faced the power consumption problem.

I am using "BSMPB04" for a trial now.
This item can supply 5V2A(Max.) and capacity is 3.7V 5,200mAh.
I think that it will probably be suitable for the Pi2.
It has equipped the switch which can perform Power On & OFF, and 4 LEDs tells the state of a battery.
It becomes unnecessary to take out and insert a USB Power Cable with the Power-On&Off switch.

They are a photograph of batteries, and a photograph about how it is combined with a case.

"BSMPB04" is sold at 1,675 JapaneseYen (about US$14) @AMAZON.CO.JP now.
Possibly , similar battery might have been sold from other manufacturers .

-Regarding; Screw (& nut)...
I adopted the M2.6 because it was recommendation of the raspberrypi.org.
Although I chose M2.6, 8mm long, it was not rather the common screw.
And it becomes troublesome and expensive shopping to purchase a small quantity of screw and nut.
Possibly I should have considered the design which does not need a screw and a nut.
However, I was not able to overcome temptation of screw and nut.

Many of the software're published for the Raspberry Pi and will give the various functions such as the media player, computer algebra system, camcorder, etc to it.
If a "Raspberry Pi", "mobile battery", and "PiTFT" 're integrated into a small box, it will be worked as a mobile or tablet PC.
And it is going to be a gadget that can help in a variety of applications.
I do so hope, and designed this case.

Of course, as a general opinion, it is convenient and easier to use the iPhone, iPad or tablets.

this looks amazing but i personally have no prior experience with raspberry pi, could you tell me what the intended use would be for this case and all of the components?
