I'd like to customize it with my business name on the plate. Any chance you'd be willing to share the source file?

I've designed this model with 123D Design, so uploaded all exportable files. (123dx/dwg/dxf/sat/stp/x3d/wrl)
I hope this helps.

Any infill recommendations if printing PLA or ABS?

I think the setting of infill has no effect to this model. Thickness is only 1.0mm, so it'll be consisted of bottom and top layers only. (= 100% infill)

I definitely need to learn how to configs the slicer correctly, having a hard time to make the pieces fit :P not even close...

Thanks! Works fine with PLA 200°, 60° heated bed. Great fun, no glue needed, only some small rework on edges needed, assuming only go my Anet A8

There's an error in the file "Touring_Bike_V2_ordered.stl". Some of the parts hover above the build plate and don't start printing until the file is several layers in. "Touring_Bike_V2.stl" and "Touring_Bike_V2_without_gates" print fine. Thanks for this fun little design.

Loved it, had a nice time together with my daughter building it. Didn't even need glue, all the pieces snapped together.

What kind of glue do you use for this? Super glue, hot glue, or some other type? Would glue for papercraft work?

I use super glue / instant glue. Quick-drying is important, adhesive force is not so important.

Good work!

It printed in about 20 minutes and it's a great demo project to show a 3D printer working and quick enough to print out many. Thank-you!

I have re-drafted the patterns in DXF for laser cutting. Thanks for the idea, its a nice little model

Hey, I really love this print and was wondering if you would like to try a sample of our 1.75mm PLA filament and see how it works out! Free filament and free shipping, (United States only) just contact me at [email protected] and I can get you set up!

why is foxsmart.org not a real website?

because you're coming to it 2 years later and its been changed to .com.

Hey, I just bought 3x of your spools! For $18USD (1 Kg) w/ amazon prime, I was shocked. Excellent quality, great price.

how to break it down as my printer area not big enough. thanks.

If your printer is M3d(print size 109mmx113mm), "Touring_Bike_V2_without_gates.stl"(87mmx51mm) can be printed.

I can print fine with the m3d. normle touring bike v2

Thanks for your feedback!

Reminds me of when I was a kid, going through the isles of the craft store and seeing the balsa wood T-REX for the first time, and thinking wow that is cool!

This was great! I printed a few of them as toys/kits for kids. I was wondering if you could upload the assembly instruction picture under the Thing Files section so I can download and print it. Thingiverse uses junk web code so I can't save the full size image from the webpage. Thanks for a great build!

Uploaded "assembly_steps_png.zip"!

Hi, thank you for updating this cool data! I like the data and tried to print this model with PLA filament but the hole of the saddle was too small and couldn't assemble with the PLA filaments. Could you perhaps make the suitable data for the PLA filaments? It would be very appreciated!

I had customized the model more loose for my printer, so I uploaded the loose model as Version 2.
If V2 cannot solve your problem, expand the saddle hole physically with utility knife.

Awesome, thanks for sharing it!

Did you try laser cutting it?

Not yet, but it's interesting!

Love it! Is there a name for these? I was wondering if there are more on the Thingiverse.

I like it. Good work :-)

Thank you very much for this great design. My son really enjoyed building it!

I like the idea of toys that could be designed this way. Then if you found yourself sitting, waiting with an impatient child you could take one out of your pocket or purse and entertain the child. This really has my gears turning. Thank you.
