have you played with these clear dominos? couldnt you see what other players have??

I haven't played with this set, and it would definitely be an issue. This set was made for a kid so he could balance and "push" them over.

  • But if I were to make an acrylic game that you could play, I would probably paint the backside so you can't see through or make a "holder" or shield where the players could have there pieces. And of course a bag for the remaining pieces.

I did make a Mexican Train version out of plywood which worked perfectly: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:750692

I hope this helps

Awesome that explains it. Do you by chance have any pictures with the masking tape on? That's a new technique I haven't heard. That stops the foggy acrylic stuff?

If you check out the the domino generators (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:713668 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:750692) Then you can see the acrylics after they have been cut, but with the masking tape still on.
I have also uploaded a photo for the Mexican train version where you can see the entire plate covered, still in the machine.

And yes, this prevents the fogging effect on parts that are not cut or engraved.
