I love this design! Suggest checking the size of the blades that you have before printing... and modifying the slots that are designed for them to fit in on the pod opener using Sketchup or some other CAD program.

Excellent.

Thank you but I have a problem with the file cover can put it back a file please you and thank you again it is great.

yes I saw the same problem with the cover in simplify. You only see 2 very thin half circle on the build plate. Two skins. But once you click prepare to print, it's fine.

Can you be more specific? The file is listed correctly under "Thing Files" and is perfectly sliced through Simplify3D. I don't see any problem.

Same "problem" here, but it's sliced perfectly. So everything is okay.

Hi, thank you for sharing this Thing. Your design helped me a lot to make a similar tool for Dolce Gusto capsules, which I will publish in a near future.

A fine invention but doesn´t it defeat the purpose of pods? If you want to do all this work I'd suggest regular espresso, much cheaper and absolutely fresh if you grind it yourself.
Best Regards.

Hello, I've printed this but the parts dont fit that good =\ Had to grind a bit for them to fit, still cant close the box like it should =\ Anyone had same problem?

This is great,
unbelievable that nespresso do not provide something similar at point of sale.
I wonder how much aluminium ends up in the ground.
Awesome design!

Thank you. To refill, the aluminum top shell must be without hole that mean you have to empty a... new pods. They already cost around 50 cts each, personally I wouldn't do it for that! :-)

Buying a refillable pop seems better for that usage.

nespresso recycles the cups also for you if you buy a bag and give ti to the postage Carrier.
but a good design.

Not in every country!

In USA they even have Tetracycle where UPS come directly at your home to take back the capsules, free for charge.

Only in certain parts of the US. In my area, no one cares about recycling. When my ex and I bought our house, I saw there were no recycling bins that came with the house (but it had a big garbage can). I had to call the local disposal company and ask. Then it took over 2 months to get a single bin to put recyclable goods in.
