I printed this with my Simple Metal Rev F model. The metal extruder lever, and body, are slightly different than now than what's in the picture. This doesn't work with the new style. It broke the body trying to clamp it in unlock position. The metal lever doesn't travel far enough.
Fantastic add-on for the printer. Seriously aside from the fan mount and Z calibration box, this is the first thing I've printed and I've been loving it since. Unfortunately, the opening for the hotend is too small to accommodate the large fan mount on the all metal Ubis 13. I'd be happy to modify it the source file to fit the Ubis 13 and provide the stl to you after I test it if you can provide the source file. Thanks!
.ipt is fantastic thanks. I've only had it for a day but its really great. Unfortunately the size of the fan mount for it also interferes slightly with the fan shroud I see we both use. You can turn the hotend shroud slightly and if you have the original shroud printed in ABS you get it on by pushing in the wall a little but its not a neat fit. I'm probably gonna remodel that first so the fan shroud for the hotend isn't slightly skewed.
Hands down the best thing I have printed for my printrbot thus far. I'd love for this to have a version with a chain linkage for a cable chain. My cable chain mount had to be moved for accommodate this (although VERY worth it).
I have this one currently. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40918/#files
It seems to be the most common size, as I know a few other chains on thingiverse fit these pretty good too.
I looked at that one and I cant completely visualize how the top link attaches to the extruder stepper motor area. Do you by chance have a picture of your setup before the extruder handle? I think it would be really cool to make another version of the handle with chain linkage. I had been planning on doing some linkage on my simple metal eventually anyway.

Well done!!!! Just finished printing and installing mine and it works EXCELLENT!!!
THANK YOU!
May I ask where you got the fan shroud from?
Hi I really like this thing. so much so I remixed it with a few changes and the PrintrBot "pb" Logo instead of the printrbot text.
Someone remix it and remove the printrbot text please

I just posted a .ipt file for you. Let me know how it goes! Also, What do you think of the new Ubis hot end? Worth the upgrade?

I would most definitely make a few changes to this:
yeah remove the printrbot logo

Which cable chain do you have on yours?
