I used a couple different models, but neither worked exactly. This isn't "perfect", but one model seemed pretty far off. I compared it to pictures of the stunt saber Luke caught from R2-D2 in Return of the Jedi. http://www.partsofsw.com/jedsab_2.htm has some info about it.
I printed it all on Medium, .2mm layer height, on a replicator 1 clone. I used supports only for the switch part (part 9), which I printed on it's end.
One of the "part 1" pommel bits has no hole if you prefer that.
The original switch I copied also seems short, so I made a "tall" version that may be preferred.
My print weight < 1.5oz/40g
I intend to use this with L3-G0, my full size Lego R2-D2 - https://youtu.be/PmXUBGq_uiU
Support my things please :)
I made this 70.7% size lightsaber to go with my full size, working Lego R2-D2 - http://L3-G0.com - Check out L3-G0's YouTube Videos.
