Summary

Here is a set of simple caps that help indicate the state of charge for a battery. The caps were designed for male XT60 terminal adapters found on most high capacity lipo batteries.

The battery caps sold by HobbyKing were the inspiration for this thing: (Product ID: 9171000693-0).

in PLA the "larger" was too small. I am thinking TPU will be better, going to try that next. thank you for the design!

Just wanted to say thanks - I'd gone through a lot of designs for this, all of them were well out on the dimensions (usually just 1 direction) and no amount of scaling seemed to get them to fit right. These did need scaling up for me (printing in ABS though), but even unscaled I could get the cap on and off (with brutal strength).

Good design, thank you.

Can you make this for XT30?

I tried to print the larger one, but the walls are too thin :(

Okay, I added another version with thinner walls to provide more room. I also added a version without text to make it easier to print.

Yea size is a little small, I had to test up to 108% to get one that fit. Thanks for the design its a quick print and the edges help a lot.

Jammer - It works for me. I made it a tight fit on purpose. I'd suggest calibrating your printer. Best of luck!

Which XT60 connectors did you compare against? Turnigy? Amass? Generic? The generic ones I have are slightly smaller than Turnigy and Amass.

Came out too small. Won't fit on the battery connectors at this size.

balls to get on and off there was no need for the tab inside that just makes it worse!
