I made this out of HatchBox 1.75 PLA filament on my RepRap Pegasus from Makerfarm. Wish there were more notes, most people had trouble guessing the tune, but I think that is because of the volume. May be louder with a nylon\abs box (and fingers). Gears are flawless...seem self-aligning so they don't walk.
My only suggestion to the design would be a drop in design for the notes part. Then you could change it out easier (assuming there are others in the works...hint...hint).

Hi, can you please put each unit in a separate file? As it is my slicer cant slice it propery :(

You should download the free version of Netfabb. It allows you to export single bodies from an STL easily. It's fairly important to me when I'm doing 3D printing because it can also repair corrupt or broken .stl files! :)

I printed at 50% regular size, 3/4 of notes sound right but a full size printing might work sound better.

unfortunately no I still don't have my printer. This was mainly just doing what we did with the game of thrones one.
