This mount is to replace the stock mount for the y axis stepper motor.

The mount flexes when under belt tension and my engineers mind cringed at the idea. So i designed this up.

Install with same hardware and location as stock part.

Holes for the nuts are printing way too small any suggestions?

Worked great, thanks!

It works great!

I noticed this exact issue with my Sunhokey Acrylic I3. I put a hexagonal piece of aluminum i had laying around perfect size to stop the motor movement but this solution is far more elegant. Thanks! One question I didnt see is this PLA or ABS?

It's all out of PLA. I have never had any issues with warping or heat distortion.

Great Thanks! I'm extremely new to this, I see a few overhangs should I use supports?

Nope. If you print it with the largest flat side down then you won't need any support.

I realized this after commenting sorry. But thank you for all your help!
