this looks very nice printed, thanks for the design:) I am going to use it to dual charge a battery pack (solar and wind power) for some super bright LEDs for the garden, I may have to increase the size or use multiple as i am only getting 1/3 of a volt with current dc motor but that will charge a small battery (I think). Problem is the unbalanced grub screw arrangement - too big for a start M2 would be better, but only on one side makes it wobble losing a lot of energy. Dual grub screws would balance it 8-)

But I think that it is more efficient if you leave empty the center of the turbine so that the wind flows through it ,so that no air bubbles are formed. Allowing the incident wind to not be deflected by the overpressure.

Yes, you are right. I actually wanted to do it that way first. In the scad file you simply have to increase the "wing radius" to do that. And you probably want to have only two wings, set wing_no to 2 for this.

Uploaded a 2-wing version with the center pole removed for better air flow as ez-thing suggested.

Beautiful, a piece of art, even if you just keep it on your desktop.

May also be used as a test object for printer precision / degradation.

I'm well impressed with the clean design and the beautiful print. ;)
