Hi, I have downloaded and am using OpenSCAD. The font in the first photo does not appear to be 'Holtwood One SC' - this creates a very thin style font, not the lovely fat one in the picture.

Am I doing something wrong?

Many thanks,

Make sure you install the respective fonts on your system. All are available from google, e.g. for Holtwood here: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Holtwood+One+SC

Ah - that's undoubtedly it. Apologies if you'd mentioned that already. I'll give that a go later.

No issue, i added the hint now to the instruction page, so thanks!

Hi makkuro,

I see there is a 3D model , "box". How do you connect the letters without a bar or rounded base ? I have tried some configurations on your applet. But can't get the same result. Help please :)

Hi oraltosun,

To get rid of the bar, set "Baseheight Percent" to 0.

Then you have to use a font which overlaps the letters. I used the font 'Baby Kruffy' for the "Box" example, which is not available in the customizer, as this page has only google fonts available. You could still use it offline, directly in OpenSCAD.

Alternatively, try the available overlapping fonts. I found at first glance: 'Norican', 'Leckerli One' and 'Pacifico'.

OK , thank you very much.

Hi, it is "Holtwood One SC". This is also the default font if you use the customizer of "open text storage" or the openSCAD model.

Which font did you use in the first photo?
