this is a GREAT design. and if i worked at HD i would make one for myself in a heartbeat.

you should mark the license as non-commercial, no derivatives. then upload a new version. this will give you some legal protections if HD just uses the design.
(CC does not limit you to selling your own designs, thats called licensing, and is common in the world of licencees)
then contact HD corporate to try pitch this to them to make for their staff, for as a working aid (like those scanner phones)

Agreed. And this is what desktop 3D printing is all about. A concept to sketch to model to a physical object in your hand. You willed it into existence.
