Hi,
Two years after, do you have any feedback ?

Thanks from Grenoble :)

Hello , I wanted to know which program generates the kss file.

I usually use the kisslicer and then charge the kss file in the pronterface . But I find no program to replace the kisslicer to generate a kss file but function as 3D milling machine.

Greetings and Thanks

This fits he original Rostock Max V1 platform.

Hi, does somebody know wich thread ison the flex shaft?
cause I need to build a custom version of this.
Thanks a lot, it looks like M14 but not exactly the same

What software and electronics are you using?

I'm just starting the tests.

My hardware is a RepRap Prism 1.5 that I built at Grenoble's Fablab (http://paoparts.com/blog/2012/12/08/workshop-grenoble-les-8-et-9-decembre/)http://paoparts.com/blog/2012/... : It's a very good and robust printer but simple or relatively simplistic one.

I use Repetier with Slic3r to print with PLA and I'm starting using skeinforge (also bundled with Repetier) with its "milling" mode to drive my Dremel.

But I know I need to be very careful on what and how I want to use it for milling, because it hasn't been designed for this use (especially the belt and motor size).

Please tell me more about your own experience. It can be interesting to improve our mutual knowledge in this matter.

I haven't any experience yet. I'm trying to get the software and electronics to act as a mill instead of a 3D printer. if I find anything, I'll give you a yell though
