I have been experimenting with flocking 3D prints lately.
The best glue I have found so far is Modge Podge Matte.
It really helps to have the plastic as close in color to the flock as possible.
That way if it is a bit thin in a spot you will not notice.
Apply Modge Podge, apply the flock, don't touch it for 24 hours.
After 24 hours, shake and gently blow off the excess.

Do you perchance have the stl for the base at all? Thanks!

Sorry! The base is not 3D printed. I poured concrete in a container lid.

Hi! I would like to know if I need support to do grass man body ? Thanks!

With those arms, definitely.

If you have a decent 3D printer and printing in something easy such as PLA you should be able to print without supports. Depending on your printer the model might have some rougher surfaces at the overhanging features. I you print the 'complete' grassman you will need support structure for the teeth.

Best thing I've ever printed... bravo!

did you mean to copy Domo-Kun?

Since I cant LIKE something twice I figured I would comment on it too. Great little model and excellent finishing. Thank you for sharing your process. Keep up the good work!

Wow, he's so cute.

Very cool! Reminds me a little of Super Meat Boy...

I might just have to print him in red!

Thanks! Super Meat Boy looks like he is related to Grass Man :P

This is great. Wallace & Gromit meet Domo.
Make the arms poseable so you can do stop-motion animation with them.

At first I didn't understand, but then I googled it, haha!

This is absolutely the cutest thing I have ever seen, LOVE IT!!!

Thank you! If you decide to print one please share a picture :)
