A laser cut business card that folds into a working caliper.

The cdr file will probably work best, it\'s setup for an epilog laser cutter.

Once you cut it out, snap out the slider and the rule. Fold the rule on the scored dotted line, wrap around the caliper body, and instert the tabs into the slots.

Depending on what paper is used, the design may need to be tweaked a bit to make everything line up correctly. The uploaded design seems to work well on light card stock. If you can find paper that has a printed layer and a white background, the engraved portions show up better. The paper used in the pic was from a notebook folder.

Do you have an s t l of this I would love to print it

.CDR awesome I thought I was the only one using Corel Draw for making .svg files.

That looks great. What type of material is that? I know it looks like wood, but i have a feeling its plastic. am i right?

Nice concept. I'm new to epilog and would like to make this. Can you give any hits on color mapping (color-
gt;power/speed). I realize they will vary for different materials, but some examples would help.

I love the idea. It should have a vernier scale, though.

This is freaking brilliant. Nice work.

Very nice. Cool to see something here before I've even seen it in meatspace at the shop. :D
