I had trouble printing this on my rep2 with wingcommander's 100m profile. The little triangle pieces inevitably disconnected from the painter's tape on my build plate within the first few layers. Any advice?

I was printing straight on the bed with a pretty decent success rate. However for the mini and micro versions I was printing a raft, but no support which gave me very insistent results. A quick pass with the exacto around the edge and the piece was good to go.

Shapeways version of the model has been redesigned to reduce overall material area and therefor cost.
Also added 2 new sizes,

Original (baseball size): [apx. $69]

Mini (racquetball size): [apx. $39]

Micro (golf ball size): ]apx. $21]

Two new sizes can be replicated with the Thingiverse version of the model by scaling the medium resolution version down (0.75, Mini), (0.5, Micro)

I made the initial model on the high res setting on a replicator 2, I'll post an alternate version in the next few days with a larger gap at the connection and test the tolerances on a medium resolution print.

Models have just been updated and properly scaled to mm.

Awesome, suspect that was what happened - printing as I type! :-) Overhang on the tags is going to be interesting!

Excellent model, but I think the scaling is off? Each piece is about 2.2mm, so maybe modeled and exported in inches?

Thanks for catching that! Revising the model now, will post an update today.

this is nice, specially since you can put it together in any way and get nice shapes, took some time to design?
