I own an original Space Invaders but I wanted to build one for my daughter.

The sketch-up file contains all the parts. Some for 3D print, some laser cut, and one CNC. It uses a cheap 5.5 inches TV and a Raspberry PI.

The cabinet scale is for 5.5mm MDF.

Ill post some other schematics later.

Here is the detailed process. http://stgomakerspace.wordpress.com/2013/05/01/mini-space-invaders-diy/

I've admired this design for the longest time. I realized I never commented on it.

In my opinion, this is one of, if not THE most, stunning pieces on all of Thingiverse. I'm just in awe of the level of detail, and it brings back fond memories of my childhood, plugging an unaccountable number of quarters into a full-sized version of this cabinet at my local bowling alley.

Stellar work man!

Cool man, I've owned both Space Invaders and Space Invaders Deluxe cabinets. Great job.

Please join and add this thing to the group "pinball and arcade enthusiasts". Looks great!

your kid looks way to old to be sucking on a pacifier hahahahahahahhahahahahah wtf

Hey, I have just started to make this, thanks for the instructions and files! Would you be able to link to the artwork files you used please? :)

Looks awesome! I wanted to do the exact same thing with a 5" CRT but the only ones I could get a hold of had super long tubes, so they didn't fit in my 1:4 scale cabs. Great job!
