I only have an A3 size laser cutter and engraver, would it be big enough to cut the panels for this project?

What screen did you use?

Any links to the spindle/motor?

Great Remix Master

What software did you use to rebuild the STLs. Can you share Step files of the models?

what size pcb can i do on this machean

Hi, awesome machine. Do you have the DXF files for lasercut?

Hi, love the mill, going to build one right away! Where can I find the DXF files for the wooden parts? could you add them to the files here?

Keep up the good work!

hey alex, what kinda wood did u use?

Hi There Alex. I started building your version of the 3D printed cnc mill and I'm trying to find the M3 brass inserts for the Z linear rods and saw many versions, do you have a picture os the ones you used? Thanks in advance.

For electronics I'll be using Arduino Mega 2560 and Ramps 1.4.

Where I can find the DXF files for the laser cutting. I have printed all the parts on 0.2mm PLA in 1.5 days. Great Work.

I'm very curious to see your V2 and to cut the flat stock in metal. May I offer a couple of suggestions, having built several 'mills' and of course my share of 3D printers?

1) Use extrusions as much as possible
2) If you stick to flat stock, could I convince you to make all the flat stock rectangular (as applicable)? This way, anyone can get their metal cut from someplace like Online Metals and just print out full scale drawings on paper, place on the cut plates and drill all the holes. The same could be done with acrylic and so on without too much complication.

Thanks and great design!

Such a great idea! It looks awesome, I cannot wait to build one.

Thanks, make sure to post pics!

HI Sorry for my English, YOUR WORK IS GREAT !!!! WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU COULD SEND ME THE FILES OF THE PARTIES WITH LASER CUT TO HAVE A WORKING AREA 30 X 40 cm , AND NOT AS THE ORIGINAL FILES EDIT Thanks in advance Greetings from Argentina = )

I am re-working the originals for a v2 version of the laser cut files that i will release here sooner or later, but I am staying backwards compatible to the original size. I would highly recommend an all metal frame design, and proper lead screws for larger mill/router.

One nitpick - this is a CNC router, not a CNC mill. A router cuts with speed, a mill cuts with torque :P

Thanks for that clarification, this is a rework, and the original was named a "mill" so I am just rollin' with it to keep the origination accurate.. =P but good to know!

Could you please provide dxf or other common formats for the frame so I may be able to get it laser cut.
Many thanks and sorry if it is already in the downloads.

Great rework! Many thanks, especially for x-carriage. I wasted about 0.5 kg of ABS and 1.5 days of printing to made something, that can move on guides :)

Your welcome,... I think ;)
