I was wondering if you could make a different type of axles for this and in the future if you could make a model for a land rover classic. Thanks!

I could probably design portal axles, live axles, or floating axles, but I don't really know what you're asking me.

That "Range Rover Classic"? Probably not, but I wish I could.

If you would like to make floating axles it would make this model even better, and yeah I would love a model of the Range rover classic. I would make it myself but I'm not that great at sketchup and there's no way I would even be able to make the Series 1 that you made

A number of months ago, I began embellishing this model with undercarriage bits, and just adding all kinds of details, including leaf springs, and suspended live axles. I kinda lost my steam as the model became more complicated and wouldn't slice properly. Maybe I'll revisit that project. One caveat - the detailed Series I would be suitable for FDM (extruder type) 3D printers; it would need to be printed using SLS technology, like available at Shapeways, but metals would be an option!

Hey man, do you think you'd be take another go at this model or possibly designing a Series II or IIA or a Series III model? Thanks!

That would be awesome but unfortunately I only have a Solidoodle 3 with some upgrades and I'm limited to plastics. but if there was a way that I could print that model with Repetier-Host I would print out all different sizes in all different plastics

for years I'm dreaming to own a land rover, in about 1hour I own one ;-)
just printing ...

I hope you'll post a picture! Remember, they leak 90W!

No support necessary. Should print just fine.

is it necessary to use supports to print it?

Lovely model. I plan on making this my first serious print.
