Well, we've tried this file for Neck_Joint_Lower.stl in Slic3r versions 0.9.9, 1.1.7 and 1.2.10 (pre-release) and Slic3r appears to work but the foreshortened output file prints a bit of goo and then thinks it's done. Cura couldn't make sense of it either. We think there might be a facet/vertex ordering problem in the source file. In SketchUp it looks like a wireframe with see through surfaces. Any ideas?

The files are in inches try rescaling to millimeters. See also this remix in millimeters; http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:861146

Articulating Neck Joint for InMoov in millimeter from Bob Houston

We tried Slic3r 0.9.9, 1.1.7, and 1.2.10 pre-release as well as Cura and none of them can make sense of the file.
We think there is a problem with facet/vertex ordering that breaks the composition.

Hmmm, I don't know what to tell you. I just downloaded and sliced it work both Makerbots slicer and Simpilfy 3D and it works fine for me.

B.
Looks good
Did you create these parts in a CAD program (Inventor, solidworks.... etc)?
If so Can you provide step files for these parts? I would like to assemble it in CAD so that my middle schoolers can create an assembly inside of Autodesk Inventor using mates and constraints. It is easier if they see the assembly before building.
Thanks.

Hello great Job
