Any chance You will make a 7 and 9 turn LHCP and RHCP holder as well?

hola buenas noches, le hago una consulta una es con giro izquierdo y la otra con giro derecho porque una va al rx y la otra al tx ? o cualquiera de las dos puede ir tanto al rx como al tx ? muchas gracias.

The TX and RX must have the same polarization. If the TX is left polarized, the RX must also be left polarized. The same goes for right polarization.

can it make wifi signal more strong??

I dont think it would becuase it is tuned for 5.8ghz and I think wifi is 2.4ghz so the coil geometry would have to be changed also I dont think wifi receivers would work well with the polarization but im no rf expert.

This is meant for video transmitters which run on 5.8ghz. So it will improve your signal.

Search eBay for "SMA Pigtail" or "RPSMA Pigtail" - look for Male-Male on semi-rigid coax, as it will hold position and have less signal loss than typical braided. You can cut one in half and make two antennas.

Then, search for "Copper clad PCB"

The main element can be nearly any copper wire, but thicker wire (14 GA) is probably ideal for maximum bandwidth. I used a scrap of ground wire from household electrical wire. You can buy it by the foot at places like Home Depot/Lowes. One antenna requires around 1 foot of wire.. get more than you need.

I've been reading up on DIY helicals. In particular, I've been going through IBCrazy's thread on RCGroups. Does this "wave trap" function as the "matching network" to match the impedance of the antenna top that of the transmission line?

Hey that's looking good!

One thing to note for the best results in signal clarity and penetration is a correctly formed wave trap.

Make sure that the end of the copper wire is only 2mm from your reflector and parallel for about 4mm before termination.
