How did you get it to lay down the first layer of fill? not the perimeter but the rest of the part since there is a lip on the bottom. My printer couldn't lay down that first fill layer with the outer rim being so high. Is there a trick or is my $285 Alunar Prusa i3 just not capable of that gap? Is the lip needed or can I flatten it out to make it easier?

Well to be honest, I am using Zortrax M200, I just hit print button , thats it .

The cable slot will not fit the original apple cable cord, can not get the lighting head end into the bottom, also design could use some rework. It would also be worth mentioning that this has to be printed with support. ps... My cable is not an after market cable its the one that came in the box from apple. Can you please fix this and I will try again.

I have ptrinted 5 of this design and had no problem fitting in the cable. You need to check expansion ratio of the material that u are using. For example when I print with zortrax I use 0.14mm for holes and 0.04mm for outer , expansion compensation. If you check the model and measure the cable hole u see that it is precise. Nothing I can do, it is because of the material that U are using.

Ok, thank you for the info, I am new at this and have alot to learn. I appreciate the information on this, that is something I hadn't thought about.
