Hello ! DO you keep the electronic inside the box? (Arduino and RAMP which heat a lot). I'm making a similar box and was thinking about it. Nice work by the way !
seeya

Yes, everything is inside the box.
But I puted vents holes in front of the ramps box and in front of the power supply. That is why there are vents grids with foam inside to lower the noise.

Nice design there ! Thinking about doing the same :) By the way, does it really lowers the noise of the printer ?

Yes, it really lower the noise of the printer. Of course you stil hear it, but it really lower the noise.
The main positive point in my opinion is to keep the heat. The heating bed need less power to maintain its temperature and I have no more problem when printing ABS. With the heating bed at 85°C, I can maintain 40°C inside the box and that avoid partially the warping effect.

oh well that's cool ! I'll need to try to do the same then ! Have had some crazy warping issues with ABS lately... ended up having to start with bed at 90 and then lower to 70 degrees !
