Summary

Very similar to this low-poly Bulbasaur planter http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:426645, but can be printed without infill.

I made some adjustments to the eyes, ears, and forehead to make the surfaces less horizontal (and I actually think he's a bit cuter, but that's just me). I also brought the planter area all the way down to the bottom, and made the planter a bit bigger to fit the plant I had.

I made a quick blog post about it here: http://www.neverstopmaking.com/mike-received-a-bulbasaur/

Instructions

I printed with 4 perimeters, 0% infill, and .1mm layer height. I recommend keeping your layer height low otherwise you may have trouble with the overhanging parts (like the forehead). Also if you're printing with PLA a decent cooling fan helps keep it from curling.

It's fairly big, and at 100% scale fits a plant with a pot about the size of a coffee mug.

What is the width, length, and height of your model?

May 31, 2016 - Modified May 31, 2016

can this print on a robo 3d? i cant debate if its gonna be too tall or not lol

It's just under 13cm tall. Not sure what the print volume is for a robo 3d, but if it's too big you could just scale it down a little.

Thanks :)
