where's the non-rotated version? I want to print both to compare them.

Unless you print them big, the links are small and don’t use infill much.

how long would this take to print?

It’ll depend on your printer and slicer settings.

Is there a way to join multiple, separately printed pieces?

The design has small gaps on the edge pieces that should allow linking.

Awesome Design Revar

Hell if I know. It's a generic square of pseudo-chainmail. It was interesting to make. Maybe make silly plastic chainmail armor. I have had people ask me if they can use it to make dresses for a fashion show.

Really great design, very durable and tough ;)

how dose the interlocking system work / how dose one assemble it?

You probably know this by now but you print it as one piece and let work do the rest.

I'm making a 10' tall x 2' wide long sheet of chain mail that can be hung. I'm trying to figure out how large I need to scale the linkage to handle the weight. Any suggestions? I'm just starting this. Thanks.

I have absolutely no idea. O.o

What settings should I use to print? Supports?

No supports are needed on a reasonably tuned printer. I printed in ABS with a heated build platform at 60C, and extruder at 230C.

If I print out multiple prints of it as big as my print bed, do they somehow connect as if I printed it as one giant piece?

At the moment, you can only really connect them by carefully snipping edge segments and laboriously connecting them to the next sheet. I've created a 2 sheet by 2 sheet grid doing this.

This is a great print. Would love more details on the edge connecting and/or if you had the time to make an end link that might simplify the process.

Big Question?
I have a makerbot fifth Gen. and I printed this file once but for some unknown reason I can not get it to print a second time?
Anyone have any ideas why?
