I am really liking printers that are using different materials and styles to form these unique looking printers, and still using the basic engineering concepts. I recently built the M-Prime for that reason, and this one will soon be on my list. Simple, neat and with a style of its own as well as functional. This is what it would look like if IKEA were selling 3d Printers.Even though they are a proven design, I think I am just over the hundreds of Prusa I3 and Delta reworks and appreciating designs that are just that little bit different. This is a project that will come in at $150 or under if you already have a CNC and 3D Printer. Attach a Bluetooth module to the ramps board and have the portability of this printer with your smartphone!!!

so this thing could be either cnc machined or printed?

I am wondering how it would look made from HDPE cutting board.

You can cnc this 20mm HDPE board. Plastic parts is better 3d printed.

Any instructions on putting this little guy together?

Added cutting files and SketchUp files.

what about a video where this cute liltle printer is in action?
