ok, but what did you make with yours?

Thanks! You are the best! I'm looking for this model many weeks...

Hi, Thanks for this model, i have printed one out in pet as that's what I had in the machine.
This will form one of the axis on my CNC build i'm planning

Hi

And what type of plastic did you print these parts for?
Will this portal be able to milled aluminum without damage?

Best regards
Roman

Hi,
file - slide_end_motor.stl damaged, missing the lower bound.

Hey :)
Can you send me some .STEP files? email: levike1.lk@gmail.com

Thanks :)

Would make a great camera slider!

Silas,

The original sketchup file is now included so you can make the required changes.

Good luck.

Do you think you could release the original files.

I have some none metric rods and brass bearings that I would like to use.

Hi Arnoud,
The nut is a snug fit. I had to trim the nut to fit the nut box in the slide. The axial forces are absorbed by the stepper and by adjusting the hand wheel nuts.

Hi Edward, thanks for your design!
Do you have backlash issue with the nut? How did you get rid of them?
What absorbs the axial forces along the shaft?
