mine model stick on the Raftt too well and hard to clean up. Is there any way to deal with this issue?

Hi, can you please tell me what kind of bed you're printing on in the video?

I am printing it for the grandchildren 4,5 and 6 years. I think the mother will like it as well

Thanks, my 4 year old loves it.

running into problems on the small gear with it popping off the little ledge on the master
have you tried it with out the flat bottom part on the orange thing ?

oh its upside down turn the orange part over

Watch the video. The flat part is supposed to be on top. I did the same thing and had the same problem.

wanted to say thank you! I am printing up a mess of these to take to the local women's shelter for the kids, for xmas. I hope this puts a smile on someones face this year. It sure did mine.

The larger gears (18 and 19) didn't fit as well, so I had better luck scaling them to 98%. But maybe it's just my printer.

Thank you, reminds me of childhood.

I created a small presentation case (no lid, a baggie works well) for this.. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1556665

Spirograph case
by mortso

I made a small case for this set, will be uploading it later. Makes it look very pro!

Great Job, but can you explain the reason for the flat ring on the bottom of the guide gear? Seems it would work much better without the teeth catching on that edge as you try to rotate the gear?

Haha, I came here to make the same comment. I even started to remix it to remove it. I'm still laughing out loud about it, but turn the base over :) Have the lip on top...

What software did you use to make this? Also, did you know what you wanted all of your dimensions to be going into its creation?

What are the dimensions for the tray? I can only print a max of 5" x 5".

YES!! this thing is sweet

WOW!! I printed them with my prusa i3,that's a awesome thing. I can't wait to show it to my girlfriend 's sister.... XD Thank's a lot!

I printed this on a Makerbot 5th gen, on medium quality with a resolution of .2mm. In retrospect I should probably have gone for maximum quality. The rough finish made the teeth of the gears a little more likely to catch.

I also found the holes to be a little small for most of the pens and pencils I have available opened them up slightly with a drill bit and it was much easier to use.

Overall, a very fun little kit!

Hi Scott! Thank you for your criticism. I designed improved version of a gear and upload file spirographV1gear14 tooth.STL

Love this! Could you please upload each individual STL file to this project? As it is, a great number of print beds are too small for the current kit to fit. Thanks for making this.

Hi! I uploaded each file separately.

Thanks, I see people are already getting them!
