A cone composed of three parts. The cone base, the first color of the actual cone, and the second color of the actual cone, recommended to not flush the object to platform other than the base as it will cause issues. Do not move them separately! Can be printed with 2X for multi-colored cone or as a single color!


Place cone_base. Next add either the cone_orange or cone_otcol. If it asks for the platform to be level say no, to the cone_orange or cone_otcol. Place the other one you did not place. Say no to the platform once again. Select the cone_base and cone_orange and change the extruder to left or right (whatever desired color in your spindles), select cone_otcol and choose the opposite extruder for the other color. If you do not have a 2X, ignore the previous instructions.

As always, a matter of opinion. You could go about just printing each an every piece separately with different colors, then glue then. What I was saying was for the 2X if you wanted to.

Heh, this would be much more easily/cleanly printed by pausing and changing colors!

To my understanding, MBI's firmware only allows manual pausing, whereas Sailfish lets you schedule pauses at precise heights.
