Is a support needed for this print?

Print it on it's side, there's some overhang in the center cutout for the gauge. I had support inside that gap and punched it out then did a little clean up.

This worked great with the harbor freight dial. Pin was a little tight but some sandpaper fixed that up.

Overall works well. I have a suggestion on a mod...for the pin, perhaps extend it with a taper, so that it helps align things on the way in. I'll see if I can whip up an example in the next couple days.

Nice !
Just a thumbs up!

I've bought the iGaging Digital indicator and it doesn't fit your adapter at all. I've double checked the measurements and it is way off..

May i get the source file ?

Same here, my harbor freight gauge will not fit in the slot :(

Could you post the CAD files for modifications please?

how well does this work???
can you post a video of you using it?

It works very well for me. I am able to level within about +/-0.02mm across the glass bed I use. This is much more precise then I could level it by eyeballing or using a sheet of paper.

I don't have a video using the bracket I created but here are few links to others that sorta explain the general process using different printers to give you an idea how it works.

This might sound like overkill... but you could buy a second dial and just mount one on either side of the centered print head. Then you should get really consistent results as you wouldn't have to move it around to test the opposite corner.

not a bad idea at all... :) As i get so frustrated with trying to level the bed with a sheet of paper this seems like a great idea.
