While on vacation in San Diego, I saw a building that resembled server racks.

My #SeeTheWorld submission are these blanking panels for your server room that are functional, attractive and make your server cabinet look just like the NRG Energy Center building located at 934 Kettner Blvd in San Diego.

Each blanking panel (either 2U or 4U) is split up into three parts that should just about fill up the print area of a MakerBot Replicator Desktop. The parts have an overhang to hide the seams, so be sure to print with support. Once the print is complete, remove the support material; file, Dremel or sand paper until you get a snug fit; and glue together.

WARNING: This is a large surface area print that can be extremely difficult to unstick from your print bed, hence I do not recommend printing this on a bare print bed. I covered my print bed with blue tape and then poured Goo Gone around the completed print, allowing it to saturate the tape and weaken the adhesive.

That's it, I'm putting a 3d printer in the budget so we can do this in the datacenter. Love it!
