I was tired of having to crawl under my desk to unplug the printer, so I made a power switch for it. It mounts with one M4 screw, but has two notches that insert into two small vent holes surrounding the screw, making it secure. You will need eight M3 screws, 6-8mm to put it together.

It was designed to use this power switch.

Great upgrade to my Folger 2020, so much better than having to just unplug it from the wall.

Unfortunately I'm not having much luck with the switch this was designed around :( First one came with a fuse but only lasted about 2 months and then locked in the on position. Ordered a replacement and it came in pieces with no fuse. Reading the reviews on amazon it sounds like a lot of these switches are failing early for people.

I may have to see if I can find a better switch for the plug module since the actual switch itself can be replaced.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm ordering the part on Amazon and I'll be making setting it up in the next week or so. Can you recommend any resources on how to wire it safely? I don't have much experience with A/C current, so I need to get up to speed on that before I try to wire it.

one wire direct on the psu
the ground direct on the psu too

The other wire on one side of the switch and start another wire from the switch to the power supply
