This is a case for a SainSmart 4-channel relay module that I have wired to my raspberry pi and controlled through Octoprint.
I designed the case with the following features in mind:
- Small form factor
- Access holes for JD-VCC pins as well as the line-in pins
- Access holes for the screw terminal
- Tube/holes for easy viewing of the status LED's
The style of the case was based upon this Raspberry Pi case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922740).
This was optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle. The included pictures were printed in PLA with a 0.25 layer height. No support needed. The top cover STL needs to be flipped over and printed upside down.
The screw holes are sized for M3 screws. To secure the board to the base I used M3 x 10 mm screws, however shorter screws are necessary. I used a hex nut as as spacer to make the 10 mm screw work (I didn't have anything shorter). The cover can be secured with M3 x 16mm or 12mm screws.
