I added a piece to cover the batteries. And I also added new option for the electronics cover to allow for 10 LEDs and 3 on the bridge pieces. Just in case you wanted to make a more realistic one that flashes. Requested by fma :).

This is a 3D printed Flux Capacitor with the option of putting electronics inside to make it light up with LEDs. This is meant to be a fun printing/electronics project and not meant to be a hyper-realistic prop. So have fun with it! :)

Awesome design!!! If you want to make the lights animated, you're welcome to the arduino sketch I wrote for a 3d printed flux capacitor I made. The sketch is here: https://jumpshare.com/v/kwhUQFe1CAJFFK1H8Rsn

Here's a link to the video of the animation. It's yours to use if you want.

Very cool! I thought about doing something like that. I actually had a version that used a 555 timer to achieve a similar effect, but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks for the link to the video. An interesting channel for sure.

@Chaos, it would be cool to have 3 holes for the leds in each bridge (and cover), and a central one, in order to make something similar to Keeyley animation...

Also, could you provide another little cover to close the batteries box?

Thanks for providing this great flux generator; I was about to make Keeley's version (very nice one too), but yours is larger, and easier to paint (I'm not good with small parts).

Good idea, that sounded like a relatively easy edit to make, so I did it. I just added the files for the battery cover and a option for the cover and bridge pieces so you can use 10 LEDs. If you do make one, let me know how it goes!

Great, thanks! As soon as this damned hot days are over, I restart my 3D printer and build it.
