After adding the extruder arm to move the extruder about 25% closer to the hot end the original filament dispenser did not work.
I made this to fit a PVC pipe I had in the garage. It has an OD of 22.5mm I believe it is electrical conduit. The current design will work with anything up to 37mm tube. Smaller tubes will place the roll closer to the surface. It holds a 133mm long tube.
I make this for the Kickstarter version of the DeltaPrintr the website version may need slight adjustments.
The design has a few slight modifications from my original print to accommodate larger size tubes and raise the roll a little higher.
I designed the dispenser to use horizontal bars but I don't think they are necessary. The holders fit pretty snugly onto the top of the printer. I have included two variations for your printing pleasure.
I printed at 25% fill and it is plenty solid.
I used the design with horizontal bars and forgot to use any support. Took a little filing to clean up the joints.
Print two of the holders. And if using the one with horizontal bars then print two bars.
