These Army Forts work perfectly for Cruel Seas, a WWII Naval coastal action miniatures game. Recommend you add "Cruel Seas" to your description.

The Forts you have modelled are the ones operated by the Army not the Navy. This is even highlighted in the Wikipedia link you have on the description.

Hm if the legs would just go into the bottom of their part 0 support would be needed. This looks like a support-party. Will try to look into it once I have time anyway.

The goal of the model was make it as physically accurate as possible while being simple to print. I did the best i could with that in mind. The only support required is the little beams that extend from the base... very minor if you ask me. You shouldn't use support anywhere else. Good luck with your print :)

I would love the full set of these to build a display of them for my shelf.

Awesome piece of history! Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you liked it!

What's the rough scale?

The model wasn't made to scale and there's actually very little info about their dimensions. That said, this sea fort (and its real world variations) is approximately 1:1000. They are ~24m (78 feet) tall.

Did you end up creating that full desktop play set? Would love to print it if possible.

awesome, couple of these are gonna go in my aquarium :)
