The whole idea of my makerboard originated when I decided to make a TwixT game, so naturally this should be the first game to post as well.
During the past few weeks of having this lying around, I have also used the pieces for a couple of other games including Reversi and Go - let me know if you guys come up with anything else!
Many thanks to peyrol for his POV-ray image on boardgamegeek.com!
P.S.: also check out http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:909397 which I designed to serve as a box for these pieces :-)
The corners serve as handicap pieces for TwixT or as board boundaries in other games (e.g. for marking the 8x8 square used for Reversi).
I printed 50 pegs and 50 bridges of each color, but a few less would be sufficient for most games I suppose. The X-Box holds 2x50 bridges and 2x40 pegs, so I got rid of some faulty ones I made in the early design phase.
Printed everything in PLA with 0.3 mm layers, no supports needed. Have fun!
