Hi do you have any more photos. Maybe a few more close ups as im busy printing this wonderful design and want it to look as good as yours. Thank you

I'm sorry I don't. I looked over my files and I couldn't find better ones than those already posted. I gave away the original model to one of my grandaughters so I'm not able to make new ones.

Where does the 8 L-pieces go? :)

Think I got it. On the top beneath the last floor?

YES!!! two on each corner. It looks you're almost done!

Can you please specify in what order the parts should be glued together?
Starting at the bottom with A and B. :)
Thank you :)

OK, think of the tower as having 4 bodies and 4 floors:

A and B (4 each) are the first body.
D (4 times) is the second body.
J (4 times) is the third body and.
K (4 times) is the fourth body.
Start by glueing each body together taking care each one is squared.
Parts C, E, F and G (2 each) are the firts floor.
H and I (1 each) the second floor.
M is the third floor and N the fourth floor.
Now take the first body and adjust and glue the two C parts and E parts.
Center and glue the second body and then complete with the ceiling of the first floor (parts F).
Adjust and glue the second floor to the second body.
Align and glue together the third and fourth bodies with help of the third floor (M)
Then you can glue this to the rest of the tower (is near complete).
Finally, glue together all the pieces of the top floor.

Can you update the description with these assembly instructions?

How much PLA do you think it will take?
Is it possible to scale the model to lets say 50%?

The full size tower weights 532 grams. You can scale it down directly in the slicer but maybe it will loose some detail.

What piece goes on H for the start of the second layer?

H is the second floor. In top of it there goes J parts (4 of them), then M (1 piece) and then K (4 pieces).

How are the E parts used and where do they go?

E parts (4 of them) are the windows for the first floor. Once the first floor platform is glued together, the windows (parte E) are glued to it and the floor roof parts complete the first floor assembly

I could not get the E parts to fint. Then I realised that the model is not square and that one is 19mm and one is 19.5 mm so half a cm longer. You need to have the two short ones paralel to the two long ones and then rotate to fit the first floor.
You should gather all the comments here and update with a more precise description.

Do you have assembly instructions? Or a video?
Thanks

Hi, I'm affraid not but it's not that hard.

Once you have printed all parts, start from the bottom up. put in place two parts together with small clothing hanging clips and once you are satisfied with the adjustment, secure the parts with a couple of drops of liquid super glue, and so on.
Keep in mind that some parts have curved edges (second and third tower sections) and those need to be thermoformed to fit (lightly warm the parts secured together with clips with a hair dryer) and then apply glue.
Proceed slowly and with care and it's fun to watch the tower growing up.
Regards!!

Hola Josemi:
Qué puedo utilizar como pegamento, para unir las piezas?
Gracias.
Hello Josemi
What can I use as glue, to join the pieces?
Thank you.

Saludos.

Muchas gracias Josemivaz.
Un saludo.

Hi,
Thanks for this great model. It's printing just fine! However, I'm having a hard time working out how to assemble the base with parts A and B. Do you overlap the edges, or just glue the corners together? If you overlap, won't it be asymmetrical at the corners, where one side is thicker than the other?

I did overlap the corners of parts A and B. It's a little bit asymmetrical but once it's finished it looks just fine.

Cannot print part C. Looks like home(0,0,0) moves during the print. Can you check it please? Thank you

Mmmm, please try to download the piece again, Maitre 1003 did a succesful print with the same set of files. I downloaded part C and it look OK in the slicer.
Please tell me how it goes.

Thank you. I printed. We had a mechanical problem (pulley was broken).

can you write. which parts must print 4 times?

Of course, parts A, B, D, J and K, 4 times each; parts C, E, F and G, 2 times each; parts H, I, M and N, one time each; part L, 8 times.

Hi, can you tell me where part G Goes?

You need to print 4 times G. I put the long bars over a toilet roll and heated with a hair dryer.

Part G, that must be printed two times and thermoformed, is the protection wall of the first floor in the internal balcony. It is not an essential piece of the model but it adds a touch of realism. In the files there is a closeup photo of the first floor where it can be seen.

do i need use part G? if yes, where is part G's place?

i saw thanks. but my prints has already cold :) i will upload make photo tomorrow

thank you for reply. i am searching for a long time like this model. i am printing now. when it will finish i will upload photo. thanks

Is there any parts need to print not only once? Or only need to print one piece for each parts?

Hi, please read my post of August 18. Most parts need to be printed four times.

The part Eiffel_twr_M, where do I have to instal it?
thx

Hi, It's great that you are building one!!!!
M goes in the middle of the large structure between parts J and K (it exists in the real thing too).

Thank you very much!!!

do i need to print some parts multiple times ??

Yes, most of the main structure pieces need to be printed four times each, as well as the first floor windows and ceiling. The first floor needs to be printed twice and the observatory reinforcements eight times each.

Hello Josemi

Thank you.

The most easy way is to use a hot glue gun.
I used Cyano (printed in PLA) and needed an accelerator spray to make the glue solidify. Some parts are a two person job where one holds the part together with the glue on, and the other one sprays.
