Trying to prise it out of OpenSCAD now...

I think I'll end up with duplicates of most of my items, maybe I'll just add a support STL to each (a cube with the item removed)

I can't beleve you managed to print the fine one! Impressive :)

The reason I put the inverted set on the inside of heartBand3 was to support the outer hearts.

This is about the limit of my bot at the moment, I th.ink I'll need to invest some time in calibration and maybe a finer extrusion tip.

Yeah, I added a bar inside the heart and tried to print the thin one, but it failed about 75% of the way thru. Too thin. I'll need to try again, with more radial thickness.

I look forward to seeing that! I didn't even attempt it. I suppose I could include some support for later removal. I've seen some amazing prints here, I'm sure one of the Thingiverse print-masters would be able to do it :'(

Oh, it has the bar in the middle of the heart both top and bottom... but I cleaned it up after the print failed. Flipping it over would have the same result. I'm rendering another version in OpenSCAD that is three times thicker, radially. Last time OpenSCAD took almost four hours to render it, so your patience will be rewarded. ;)

Alright, four hours to render and thirty minutes to print. Less breakage than on the first try, but not perfect either. I'll post pictures in a little while.

Done. Increased radial thickness to 3mm but still got a couple of broken hearts on the top row, despite the added support columns.

Try to clean it with an acetone bath and, well, didn't get a great result. May try printing it a third time, if I have time.
