Summary

This is a pneumatic extrusion based 3D printer designed specifically for printing clay and other paste materials, remixed from the exceptional work done by Jonathan Keep, Unfold, and models by Oliver Reinecke.

Specific remixes:
Scaled up to a 235mm diameter x 425mm height print volume. Uses 36 inch 12mm bearing rods and nominal 12 inch aluminum connecting rods (rod length is 335mm between pivot point centerlines).
Uses Uxcell (about 300cc) cartridges for the clay (lower initial cost compared to Techcon).
Includes a BOM with links to vendors (lots of eBay and Amazon) and includes total cost (updated as of May 2017).
Includes stl files for a modular printer center that can switch between Uxcell cartridges and a bowden extruder (modular_center.stl, Uxcell_Cartridge_insert.stl, Bowden_insert.stl), or the WASP Clay Extruder http://www.personalfab.it/en/products/clay-extruder-kit-2-0/ (appeared to be out of stock as of 14 January 2016, but is back in stock?). The bowden extruder is a WIP. Also a WIP is a DIY open version of a start/stop auger extruder (similar to what the WASP Clay Extruder does). I have attached my version New_Auger_Zibes_Quarter_Short.stl and a parts list, which is still a WIP. Many exciting versions in development can be found on Jonathan Keep's Google group (see link below).
Includes 3dm and dxf files for the CNC parts.
Includes the Marlin firmware (updated to 1.1.x) specific to this build (Zibes_Delta_2017,zip), as well as a starting config file for Slic3r (Zibes_Delta_2017). The configuration file also contains settings for the auger.

Possibly I missed it on the BOM, but I am wondering if you could let me know what thickness plywood you CNC'd the wooden parts from.

I don't think it is mentioned. For best strength and rigidity, use 3/4" or 18mm. Thankfully, the thickness does not matter with this design, especially since these dimensions (especially that 3/4") can be nominal.
