Here the laser cut drawings of the casing for the CCC Radio. For every one who couldn't get the casing at the Chaos Communication Camp 2015, because at the Fablab Truck we ran out of materials.
You can cut it now at your local Fablab, Hacker- or Makerspace.
The CCCradio_layouts_basics file is best for cutting acrylic. You can use a transparent Top, so you still see the leds and radio shape.
The CCCradio_engraving_lies file is for cutting a wooden casing. Here I made holes for the leds and an engraving of the radio shape.
As distance holders we used laser cut washers, cut from the same material as the casing. You need 16 washers per casing.
You can assemble it by using 25mm M3 bolds and nuts or use small tyraps instead.
We used 3mm thick material.
