I can't get the tip, point to be a point. it come out as a glob.

Generally on REAL gemstones the point is not meant to be sharp, it is meant to be flat, and is called the "cutlet". The provided .STL has such a flat "cutlet". If you are modifying the .SCAD code this is controlled by the variable named "stone_cutlet_diameter".
Also, unless you have a very high end machine and it is calibrated VERY well, your 3D printer likely cannot make a very sharp tip. So when printing there will tend to be a blob here. Just clean it up with some sand paper or a file to give it more definition.
