Hi!! My Spools have 75mm hole. Does this holder support that size? Most ones i've seen are up to 56mm spool size and i have printed 5 upgrades for my Anet A8 so far, no where near the knoldege necesary to modify them myself...

wich size . please update description with some specifications.

I have no part fan but it still printed great , and works a treat..

Fantastic solution! working like a charm many thanks :)

If you have trouble assembling this try putting oil (I used olive oil) on the shaft and joining them with a rubber mallet. It went together and spins like a champ. If it seems like your spool is to wide/deep check out my remix and see if that helps.

It's so simple and works! Thanks!

Did you design it on openscad ?
Do you plan to release a customizable version where we can change the spool diameter?
I saw (and tried) http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:996367 but it resize the whole part so the support is not compatible with different size of spool holder !

By the way, this design is very simple and cool !

What was the problem with resizing?

I wannat to use the same support for all the spool holders but with the resize the spool holder hole is too small or too big.
So when you resize you need to print both path for a perfect fit :(

This one was designed to be a little more universal ... You might want to give that a try.

Yes you right !
I will try it :)

I love guys who design, share, improve, share, improve, share, improve, share, ...

Hello, does the top part needs some support ? It seems to be a big hangover.

What diameter/type of spool does support this holder?

Nice design and fast to print!

Simple is the hardest thing!

I added the FilamentChallenge tag to your item. Hope that's OK.

thanks, I didn't notice I have to. :-)

genius. simply awesome. best idea ever. can not get any simpler and still function..... :)
i been trying to find a solution like this, but you beat me to it.

Done !
hope you enjoy it :)
