Before there was thingiverse, when someone said: "Ok, that printed XYZ is nice but I don't need a XYZ. What useful thing could you possible make with a 3D printer?" I grumpily replied: "The possible applications are only limited by your imagination!" Now I just laugh and point them to thingiverse ;)
