I'm a designer, artist and teacher for middle and high school students (art and computer programming). In the oughts, some of my students and I built a makerbot cupcake. Since then, my classroom technology has grown to incorporate a Replicator 1 Dual extrusion printer and, more recently, two lulzbot taz 4 printers. We also use 3d scanning from clay from a NextEngine scanner and a MS kinect.
